The Portrait Experience
As a Denver family photographer, I help families avoid cheesey smile syndrome by evoking all the snuggles, giggles, and love in a fun and interactive way. I start by putting your family into position and then give prompts to help keep your family engaged with each other instead of just smiling straight at the camera.
It's my job to make sure that not only your family photos are enjoyable, but also make sure you are fully taken care of from the moment you book until you are flipping through the pages of your custom family heirloom album!

Once you send in your inquiry or shoot me an email, we'll discuss details as far as location and date and I'll send over my family session planning guide for you to choose which spot will be most accessible for you and your family. This gives us the chance to get more details in the books for your family session.

Once you have officially signed the contract and paid the 50% retainer fee, we'll get to work on finalizing the details of the session! Usually in the Summer our family sessions start between 6-7pm. In the Winter and Fall we'll start between 3-4pm. This also depends on how long of a session you book and where we're shooting. Be sure to let me know if there are any concerns or questions you may have!
3. Family Session
This is the day we get to hang out, make amazing memories, and capture your family as you authentically are. No worries if the kids are crying or if they're unhappy, this is simply a time to capture your family as they are now! Like I said earlier, I set you up in a flattering pose and then prompt you and your family in order to capture those authentic smiles. I'll also be sure to capture a couple perfectly-smiling-at-the-camera photos too, for the grandparents.
4. Gallery delivery
About 2-3 weeks after your session, your full gallery hits your inbox and depending on which session you booked, you will have the opportunity to go through and pick out your images. Once you have made your selections, the watermark will be removed and the images will be yours to share! Once downloaded, please print them and please share them around!
