As a family photographer, I value getting all the little details including how your family interacts, because each family is different, and that is so special. After your session, continue the family date with some ice cream, putt putt, a movie, or bowling!
In general, I love to capture warm, interactive, spontaneous, extroverted (even if you think you’re awkward) people who crave to have a good time together! I also love to throw in a few posed images (because you just gotta have that one perfect everyone-looking-at-the-camera-smiling image).
HEY THERE!
I’m Katie. I have two little girls at home and I know just how quickly they grow up and how valuable your time with your family is. My youngest daughter is almost 1 and my oldest is almost 3! I am also a total romantic and love to spend quality time with my husband. We used to go swing dancing before we had kids and he proposed to me on top of a mountain on Christmas Eve with a beautiful handmade scrapbook of images of us from our dating days (just 6 months!). The whole thing was super cheesey, but I loved it. Oh and we got married on our 1 year dating anniversary! My husband works for the Air Force; our adventures have taken us from Colorado to Alabama to Mississippi and back again to colorful Colorado where we now live. We enjoy family game nights and chasing our girls around the house and cuddling up on the couch to watch movies together.
