There are so many things on your to-do list, I’m sure, but one of the bigger financial priorities comes down to a photographer for your wedding. Of course I’m going to say that, but really, it’s true. If you think about it, nothing else will last except for the love you two have for each other (of course), and…the memories of the occasion. I’m Katie Blondin.

I’m a Denver, Colorado wedding and family portrait photographer who is passionate about imagery that emulates sentimental, interactive, and down-to-earth people in love.

My husband Tim and I have been married nearly 5 years! We have 2 beautiful little girls and my husband works for the Air Force. Our adventures have taken us from Colorado to Alabama to Mississippi and back again to colorful Colorado where we now live. We enjoy family game nights and chasing our girls around the house and cuddling up on the couch to watch movies together.

I have been enjoying photography since high school; it all started in an old fashioned dark room developing film. After high school I gave it a break due to moving around the country a bit, but after having my first daughter I resumed my passion (this time digitally) and started a business!

Now that we’re back in Colorado, my business is in full swing and I’m enjoying time capturing moments for families and couples!

DIY bride, I know you’re used to doing it all yourself, but for your wedding day, let’s hand over the reigns just a bit. Time is money, so save it up. During your wedding, I’ll be committed to YOU and capture you and your fiance’s connection and togetherness in an interactive and spontaneous way. Oftentimes, the memories that couples have on their wedding day get lost and hide away on a computer or in a hard drive, my goal is to get those photos framed, printed, or in a coffee table book to be looked at for many years to come, not just the weeks following your big day.

When I take you two aside for some posed shots, not only will you have a great time, but you’ll be building tangible, beautiful memories with heirloom quality art that will decorate your home and fill you with happiness every time you glance at it.

In general, I love to capture warm, interactive, spontaneous, extroverted (even if you think you’re awkward) couples who crave to have a good time together!
