Micro Wedding with Adam and Liz
The Oaks at Plum Creek
Talk about a gorgeous location nestled just under 30 minutes from Denver. The Oaks at Plum Creek in Castle Rock is the perfect location to host your modern vibe Colorado micro wedding without having to drive hours to get there. This location is so great for venue variety and features both indoor and outdoor spaces for the ceremony. The bridal suite is huge and beautiful and the groom’s room is so fun with a golf simulator; both wonderful for getting ready in. The landscape is stunning (you can even see the iconic castle shaped butte!), the staff is great, the food is amazing, and it can comfortably fit up to around 150-200 people. Although, it is designed to also be great for smaller weddings too. Liz and Adam had a much smaller wedding of about 55 guests and it worked perfectly at this spot. If you are considering a modern micro wedding, do not hesitate and book this venue!
The Wedding Day
Liz and Adam are such amazing people and we connected so well ever since our first phone call. I felt like I was hanging out with good friends at their engagement session and I couldn’t wait to see them again on their wedding day! From perfect weather to a bit rainy and overcast and then sunny again, this day was an absolute blast regardless. Them, their friends, and their family were so fun to work with. There were so many sweet moments, one of which was when Liz and Adam decided to have a first look and wanted to say their vows to each other privately. Not to mention SO much laughter and fun on the dance floor. This Oaks at Plum Creek wedding day has easily become one of my favorite days this year. For real though, I do love every single one of the weddings I shoot, but this one was one for the books.
