Madie and Dylan Engagement Session in Dillon
Nestled between Copper Mountain and Frisco, Officer’s Gulch is a gorgeous location for a Colorado engagement session. It has some of the most picturesque backdrops with tons of variety that make for the perfect location. You can read more about this beautiful spot here.
This Officer’s Gulch engagement session is one for the books! Madie and Dylan are the absolute cutest and the way they interacted with each other was so adorable. I was a little bit worried about the rain storm happening on the way to the spot, but the rain ended up missing us and it turned into a beautiful evening. The lake in the background is so versatile because the mountains completely surround this spot. Even with a few people sitting on the rocks, we were able to crop them out and work around them to avoid photobombing!
Quick note…I once had another engagement session here and it was snowing in late October. Going up to the mountains is so unpredictable, but totally worth it!
About halfway through the engagement session, Madie and Dylan were able to make a speedy outfit change. At this elevation, surrounded by mountains, the sun goes down much quicker around sunset. We went from bright and sunny to kinda dark, which made for more variety; which was awesome. This is such a wonderful spot for an engagement session, so if you have time to make the drive I totally recommend it!
